Ranging in all shapes and sizes and in everything from vibrant to neutral color palates, our selection of woven plateaus, baskets and bowls are unique and ideal conversation, storage and decor pieces.

They are round, high density nesting baskets handcrafted with tightly woven kaisa grass and jute string. The sturdy wild grass is found along Bangladesh's riverbanks, cut during monsoon season (leaving the roots for next years crop) and dries from its natural light green color to earthy and warm shades of light pink, yellow, tan and muted green. It's then intricately hand woven into the neutral toned, beautifully unique and versatile basket with twisted natural jute rope.

The baskets deals were woven by hand in Bangladesh by a group of talented and multigenerational female weavers who produce exceptional weaved crafts and contribute to the preservation of Bangladesh's fine hand-crafting heritage. They were produced in an ethical and fair trade environment, took multiple days to complete and the sale of each basket set contributes to providing their children, families and communities with invaluable income and educational resources.
