Randy Johnston mug with chop mark.

Just a nice hearty coffee mug by the master. This is not fragile. Nice beefy but comfortable handle, straight forward loose form.

Randy Johnston is very highly regarded in the studio ceramics world, he is especially recognized in the wood firing field. Currently a professor at the University of Wisconsin, Randy was once a student of Warren MacKenzie, at the University of Minnesota. Randy Johnston pottery is very highly regarded, sought after and collected. I could go on and on, but his resume listed below says plenty.

3-7/8" tall and 3" across the lip.

Excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
