Stanley Jones” also some pencil writing lower right. Page 12-13 had a newspaper article & it discolored pages. Eli Stanley Jones (1884–1973) was an American Methodist Christian missionary, theologian, and author. He is remembered for his interreligious lectures in India. Dr. Jones had become a close friend of Mahatma Gandhi, and after Gandhi's assassination wrote this book on his life. Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. told Jones' daughter, that it was this biography that inspired him to "non-violence" in the Civil Rights Movement.
