deals
This is a 1930s cocktail shaker with a recipe design by Bernard Rice. It is engraved on all sides with various drink recipes including the Harvard, Yale, Bronx, Pink Lady and Jack Rose. The recipe design is accented with grapevine panels. The shaker was made in 1932, before their design patent was approved in 1933. This is a stylish cocktail shaker that would bring old world charm to any bar collection.
The shaker is in fair/good used condition with normal wear and age. It has some tarnish on the silver and an area of possible plate loss on the back side (see 7th photo). The bottom rim is fairly dented up and wobbly (see 8th photo). There's an indented spot on the "Bronx" recipe and a few more on the lid (5th photo). These types of issues are not unusual for a 90 year old item.
This piece stands about 10.5" tall by 4" wide.
