What I have for sale in this ad is a High Quality Rollerball Pen, made from Texas Spalted Water Oak. The finish on this pen is Rhodium and BlackTitanium plating.

This pen has been handcrafted here at Swamphouse Woodworks, there are no other pens exactly like this one. The Water Oak wood was hand selected from deals premium lumber and cut to exact specifications.

This pen was hand turned from Texas Water Oak, and then coated with approximately 20 layers of cyanoacrylate glue to make the pen really shine, and protect the wood from water and oils from hands. This pen has a threaded cap, and is a rather large pen, but great for signing big checks.

This rollerball pen would make a great gift for birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, weddings, Christmas/ holidays, or just for that special person in your life.

The wood on this pen is from the South eastern part of Texas, close to Houston. This particular oak had fell during Hurricane Ike in 2008. The oak wood harvested was left outside for a long period of time after being cut. During this time the lines and processes of decay caused the wood to become spalted, or look like a puzzle. After the wood was properly dried and cut again, the process stopped. I have filled the soft wood with a very thin viscosity glue that penetrates deep into the wood. The wood has been made solid and is ready for your enjoyment.

This pen is very unique because the wood to me resembles fire. The way the spalting pattern weathered the wood is extraordinary and very one of a kind. I can safely guarantee that you will not find a pen with this type of wood with the same exact pattern. This is would make an excellent gift for anyone who appreciates items made from wood.
