Original acrylic painting of autumn tree of yellow leaves. Perfect companion painting to ‘Chilly Cherry Tree' - my painting of this same tree in winter with a red cardinal.
It was a warm, lush green summer for months, then suddenly everything changed. This happy little tree turned brilliant yellow then let go of every leaf in a single day, like nature's own strip trees. (sorry)
These 9x12” acrylics are deals demo paintings from art classes I teach - inspired by photos taken in Northern California, on trips to the tropics and across the US. In 2017 I moved my studio to Woodstock, New York to teach art and find beautiful new landscapes to paint. Some will repeat as they sell (this is Version 2), but each will be a little different as they are indeed originals.
