Materials: Baltic birch plywood, Aluminum Feet, Stainless Steel Screws and Vinyl Caps.
Finish: The wood surfaces are sanded smooth and receive several coats of water-based clear coat, a durable waterproof finish that highlights the wood grain with a satin low gloss. This is a low VOC finish so the product is odorless. Can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth.

THE DESIGN - This desk tray was made for working and eating from anywhere. The perfect size allows for a good work surface and easy storage. It also works great as a writing surface, using a laptop computer or eating while sitting or camping. The Baltic birch plywood material is strong, flat, very light and has a warm natural look. The tray incorporates several ergonomic features such as curved edges that conform to body shape, holes for routing a power cable for the laptop computer and easy lifting. Two smaller holes provide convenient pen storage. All edges have generous curves for increased comfort and to protect your arms and hands. The round corners and edges also protect your furniture from bumps and scratches. The four small feet are secured under the tray using oversized stainless steel screws for good looks and a strong build. The low profile black screw heads are recessed into the wood and do not interfere with the flat surface. Overall this is a very user-friendly design that will help you both at home and on the road when you need a convenient flat surface to get things done.

HANDMADE - The desk tray is handmade from scratch right here in Colorado in my workshop. The wood is cut precisely using a CNC and all subsequent operations such as edge rounding, sanding and clear coat finishing are done by hand. The four aluminum feet are individually machined on my lathe for a precision fit. Premium materials are used throughout.
