Traveling to Key West was like a trip back in time. The Audubon House was a favorite... not just because deals I am long time admirer of his artwork, but the southern hospitality and charm found in this home. Built by Captain John Huling Geiger, it is known as the Audubon House following his visit in 1832 to Key West where he spent time working on his "BIrds of America" folio and the collection of his art work is found here. The museum opened in 1960 and is a must-see if you get the chance to visit.
