1950s NVA Black Pants, Size S to deals XL

Field pants from the East German (DDR) Army.

Deadstock (washed once) from the early fifties, literally brand new !

The fabric is beautiful, deep black and full of irregularities : it's a cotton blend, with linen and/or hemp. The kind of fabric that fades amazingly.

The waist is slightly elastic on the back, hence the range for the waist measurements. If you're between two sizes, choose the smaller one.

At the time they were worn on top of a regular pair of pants, so you have one cargo pocket and one regular pocket. The last one is just an opening to reach the pocket from the first layer of pants. You can close it with a button, so there's no problem wearing it as any other pants.
