Offering an Antique "Tam O' Shanter" Crocheted Steel Beaded Coin Purse This item is Victorian, dating to the 1890's. The bag measures approximately 2” x 2” The silver plated lid has an ancient Greek coin motif on.the top, with a working snap closure. Inside the lid is marked PAT MAR 25 90, and R in a keystone. The bag is made of crocheted threads of a deep rich burgundy red color, with genuine steel beads. Beads are genuine steel –magnetic – and in a pinwheel design pattern. They are in overall great vintage condition with just a few showing some rust. Please see photos for details.
