Regarded by his peers as one of the best writers of the 19th century, Oliver Wendell Holmes was considered a member of the Fireside Poets. The "Breakfast-Table" series was his most famous prose works which began with 'The Autocrat of the Breakfast-Table' (1858). He is also commonly recognized deals as an important medical reformer.

Internally, firmly bound, bright and clean. The slip case is rather worn with the paper working loose in parts and some shelfwear. Slip case is good only. Overall: Very Good Indeed
