Here I have for sale a rare freeform Turquoise, Azurite & Pyrite Cabochon cut and polished by me here in Lancashire. The slab was obtained from Rich Dover and the source unknown to him but deals assumed to be American stock. The camera seems to be very confused when trying to take pictures so apologies for the poor quality on the pictures. The pyrite and lustre seems to have beaten my camera! It is beautiful in person!
Dimensions: 30.65 carats - 23.3mm long x 16.6mm wide & 7mm thick to add some stability. It is completely natural and untreated, polished up to 50,000 grit. It truly is a stunning gemstone but unfortunately, camera's are unable to pick out as much detail as my eyes can see.

Turquoise, Azurite and Pyrite are synonymous with beauty and prized amongst jewellers. Most are stabilised and backed with resin but mine are entirely natural, reasonably fragile so care must be taken when setting them. The Azurite is obvious in the deep blue veins and the pyrite threads through the turquoise and azurite acting as a ‘glue' to bind it together. I have successfully set them in pendants but would advise against placing them in rings due to their fragility. This is very rare material. Should you encounter any problems please contact me for advice.
In crystal healing circles Azurite is the most sought-after gemstone as it enhances creativity & inner wisdom due to its ability to cleanse and activate the third eye chakra.
