1950s McCabe Silversmiths vintage sterling silver Western ranger style belt buckle hand tooled leather belt - 1 5/8 in buckle deals -no keeper/tip

McCabe Silversmiths of Hollywood, California made the 1950s Western ranger style sterling silver buckle on this vintage hand tooled leather belt. The 1 5/8 x 1 1/2 inch buckle is signed with overlapping "MC" and "S" inside (hallmark attributed to John McCabe Silversmiths) and marked, "Sterling". A southwest floral leaf design flows around the dark aged patina of the buckle. There is also a small blank monogram plate for personalizing. The aged leather belt has a hand tooled floral and leaf design that spans the length. The carved leather was done with great detail and finished with a darker stained textured background.

The belt stretches 40 inches with two holes for closing the belt. There is no tip or keeper, but replacements can often be found online. The buckle can also be easily taken off by deals undoing the snaps. The old leather needs some major conditioning and has lots of wear with worn surfaces, creases, wrinkling, etc. If the buckle was used on a different belt, I'm sure the belt could be re-purposed in another way. This pairing will not be separated and are sold as is. There is dark patina to the sterling silver and other expected age wear from being used. It could be polished shinier if desired.
