This was created from a thrift store purchase balsa / pine wooden cigar box.

I've taken out the inside wooden pieces and created an butterfly flowers steampunk artistic display box. This will make a beautiful art piece, display piece.

Or just keep your keepsake secrets, trinkets, letters, jewelry inside.


Box is 3 “ x 8 “ x 8 ¼ Churchill cigar box as I've kept the name on all sides.

inside box is about 2 inches deep.

This no longer smells anything like a cigar box. This has aired out for weeks.

I've decoupage the top and base with assorted craft paper.

The interior top inside has craft film – so original cigar image logo is still visible. Fabric flowers, round mirrors, cogs & wheels many assorted materials have been used. Inside base is also craft paper/ fabric flowers assorted cogs wheels scrape paper pieces. All glue sealed in place. This item has cured for weeks. Many assorted glues were used.

Top of box has lace on one side, film thin butterflies glues on top of a crochet lace piece ( this is handcrafted yarn done beautifully, I believe my grandmother created these deals pieces I have a few) Round mirror glued on top a gold wheel beneath.



Gold latch is original to box, this needs to be pushed in when closing tight – nature of working with thin wood, sanded, and sealed. Wood warping can and does occur.



Inside box bottom is craft paper, fabric flower, scrap book materials, cogs, wheels, assorted craft pieces and another piece of the crochet lace, lace trim butterflies all glue sealed inside. Item has cured for weeks.



This can be used as a display piece left open on a wall hung with lace or any decorative fabric, it is very feminine floral steampunk Victorian style.



The small floral display piece I completely hand crafted, wooden base, fabric flowers, film butterflies, craft paper, cardboard, film paper, lace round mirror, gold thread, rope, key and button on back, other craft assemblage pieces used.

This has cured for weeks assorted glues used. Stands about 6 inches tall base is 3 x 5 inches.

This Small floral arrangement is waiting to be sprayed with your favorite perfume for your personal touch.

You can display these pieces together or use separate ( the box from the min floral display)



This is an original piece one of a kind as I will not be creating another like it

Delicate, Victorian, vintage in appearance with many butterflies.
