Up for sale is this rare Beswick England Dinkum Platypus figurine, a character from David Hand's 1940's cartoons, Animaland. This hard to find figurine stands at deals 4 1/4 inches tall and 3 inches wide. David Hand is a Disney Legends inductee. He worked in the 1930's Disney animations Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Bambi as a Supervising Director. After leaving Disney in 1944, he left for England to work for Gaumont British Animation where he produced Animaland.
This figurine is in excellent condition, no chips and noc racks. Ithas some crazing due to age. Please see all the photos for a more detailed description of this item.
