DESCRIPTION:
These island table cloths can also be used as a table cloth or flat sheet deals (can cover a twin bed mattress). They are individually hand-painted batik-style by skilled artisans. The artist sketches the design on the fabric and then traces it with hot wax. Then the artist paints within the wax outline to create the quilt design. Because each product is individually hand-crafted, there may be small marks where the dye goes outside of the main design and some slight variation in color and occasionally wax residue. These features are part of the quilt's handmade nature and character.
