Pair of 1950s Wooden deals Shadow Boxes Ceramic Boy & Girl M.P.F. Pictures of Distinction California

These charming Germanic ceramic figurines are part of beautifully framed shadow boxes. The little boy holds an umbrella and has a knapsack and stands beside a large grasshopper. The little girl in bonnet carries a flower and a very large shamrock, and a colorful mushroom protrudes from her knapsack.

Each shadow box is 11.5 by 9.5" including frame. Both are in good condition. The girl has a crack on her leg which could be from a repair. The burlap backing behind the boy has some discoloration. Both show some staining on their backs. See all photos for your best idea of condition.

The shadowboxes are 4 inches deep, and the ceramic figures themselves are approximately 6 inches tall. Eyehooks and hanging wire have been added to the back of each shadowbox (not shown in the photographs), and they are ready to be hung on the wall.
