Vintage MCM Blenko 939-P 1953 Winslow Anderson Design in Sea Green. Model 939s were shown in the Blenko 1953 catalogue. This pitcher is in excellent condition. No chips or cracks. As with most hand blown glass pieces, there are a couple imperfections. The most noticeable, is a bubble near the base of this pitcher which I have captured in the second to last picture. It is not a chip. It is smooth. This pitcher measures 14” high. The pontil is apparent deals. Winslow Anderson became BLENKO GLASS CO.'s first resident designer in 1947. His classical style combined elegant beauty with functionality. Many of Winslow's designs became Blenko signature pieces.
