The yardage will come in 2 pieces, one piece deals is 2.5 yards, the other is 6 yards
Your potential quilt backing could be 8' tall x 120' wide. If you needed it to be taller, simply add a strip to the top, which I have done several times and it looks so cute when you turn back the bed.
