I am Selling a Original 1940's era framed print entitled "A Ticklish Fall" by Listed artist Jack Schurch of Palm Springs California. The full color lithograph comes its the original frame with matting, has never been removed or cleaned. The print may show signs of fading from age but still is very vibrate as shown, has no deals spotting or stains, does have some dust and could be taken apart and cleaned. The print itself as shown measures 14.5" by 10.5" inches, the frame measures 24" by 20". The frame is solid wood with some normal age wear, paper backing is worn. A beautiful example of this artist work.

(Bio) Born in Germany on Sept. 2, 1904 of Swiss parents. Schurch had settled in Beverly Hills by the 1920s and was a star football player for Occidental College. By 1937 he had gained fame in Los Angeles for his watercolors. With studios in Palm Springs and Hollywood, he decorated many homes and taverns with colorful depictions of Mexican subjects. Made wealthy by the invention of a football game, he moved to Evanston, IL where he remained until his demise on April 4, 1965. Exh: Sherman Hotel (Chicago), 1955.
