Prototype Sale- Eleven deals Snow Ball Dresses

Please note that these dresses are prototypes we made when developing our made-to-order Snow Ball Dresses. They are made in the same manner as our other dresses, but have different fabrics. They have each been worn only once and have been kept in storage since. We no longer need them and would love for them to live on in someone else's wardrobe. Each dress comes with a vinyl belt and resin barrette!

DRESS A
This is a pullover style dress made referencing an actual pattern from the 1980s. It features an asymmetrical bodice and skirt, elbow length sleeves, pink piping, and striking pink polka dots. The dress is made from a gray poly/cotton chambray. This chambray is soft, lightweight, and semi-sheer when backlit. We recommend wearing a slip. Because chambray is woven with different colored threads, the dress color may appear anywhere from a lighter graphite color, to a darker gray depending on lighting, viewing angle, and your monitor settings. To achieve the vintage look, we hand apply the pink dots to correspond perfectly with the pink piping. All seams are finished with a serger to prevent any fraying and to extend the life of the garment. There is also an elastic channel at the waist to help keep the gathers neat under your belt. The best part about this dress is that it's cute enough to wear for more than just your typical costuming occasions!

DRESS B
This is a pullover style dress made referencing an actual pattern from the 1980s. It features an asymmetrical bodice and skirt, elbow length sleeves, pink piping, and striking pink polka dots. The dress is made from a grey/blue hand died cotton cotton fabric. This fabric has decent structure, and has a tight enough weave that it cannot be seen through. To achieve the vintage look, we hand apply the pink dots to correspond perfectly with the pink piping. All seams are finished with a serger to prevent any fraying and to extend the life of the garment. There is also an elastic channel at the waist to help keep the gathers neat under your belt. The best part about this dress is that it's cute enough to wear for more than just your typical costuming occasions!

DRESS A
This is a pullover style dress made referencing an actual pattern from the 1980s. It features an asymmetrical bodice and skirt, elbow length sleeves, pink piping, and striking pink polka dots. The dress is made from a light blue cotton fabric that is similar to a loosely woven batiste. The fabric is very drapey, and lightweight to wear. We recommend wearing a slip because it is somewhat see-through in most lighting. To achieve the vintage look, we hand apply the pink dots to correspond perfectly with the pink piping. All seams are finished with a serger to prevent any fraying and to extend the life of the garment. There is also an elastic channel at the waist to help keep the gathers neat under deals your belt. The best part about this dress is that it's cute enough to wear for more than just your typical costuming occasions!

BELT
The belt included with this costume is a cinch style made from a pink synthetic vinyl with a white webbing reverse side. The matching slide buckle is 2"x 1 1/2" and self-covered to make a perfect match. The belt itself is about 2" wide. It is intended to be worn with the loose end tucked in.

BARRETTE
The barrette is a puffy teardrop design based on 1980s deadstock. The main body of the barrette is made from a food-safe epoxy resin, and the barrette hardware is a snap bar style made in France. The color is an iridescent blue with a metallic green undertone when under bright light. Barrette dimensions are approximately 1 7/8" long by 3/4" wide. Please use with supervision around small children as it is small enough to be considered a choking hazard.

SIZING
These dresses are intended for body measurements of Bust 36" Waist 28" Hip 38". Because of the extra ease in this style of dress, you can have body measurements an inch or two larger and it will still work for you. Unlike our made-to-order dresses, there is only a small 5/8" hem, so skirt length alteration may not be an option. These dresses usually land right at or slightly below the knee.
