Zoom Zoom....long before it was a car commercial. A life size hummingbird zooms upward as only a hummingbird can....

This is one of my favorite little sculptures.

From my original sculpture in soft clay, I made a mold . Into this mold I pour hydrostone cement in order to create permanent editions. These editions are then painted by hand, in multiple washes, in a process similar to the ancient fresco technique. For this reason , no two will ever be deals exactly alike. The result is a luminous art piece that combines the best effects of both painting and sculpture.

For an outdoor , waterproof or installation edition please convo me. I also create this in concrete for a little extra cost.
