Churchill roller ball deals pen 8

This is a Churchill roller ball pen made with cocobolo barrels. The trim is made of 24kt gold plating. It uses standard roller ball ink refills. Other available roller ball pens are pictured also.

The wood blank is prepared for the lathe by cutting to length and drilled for brass tubes. The blank is then mounted on the lathe and turned to the desired shape. After turning, it is sanded to 1500 grit sandpaper, finished with multiple coats of CA, sanded again to 1500 grit and finally polished. Calipers are used to match the deals diameters of the ends with the corresponding fitting.
