deals This vintage Whiting & Davis White Mesh handbag is made in the USA. The purse is from the 1940's and features small White squares in a White Enamel with the frame also painted in a White enamel. The inside frame is in a gold tone metal color with the hallmarks "Made in USA, 2983, Whiting & Davis, Co". The liner appears to a Copper Silk not sure. The purse also has a gold tone Snake chain long enough to put on your arm. This purse for being from the 1940's is still in great vintage condition there are no discoloration of the mesh anywhere, Liner is in great condition with no soiling, hardware works fine and closes securely. This purse was purchased at an Estate Sale in Cherry Creek, Co. and will arrive carefully packaged with FREE SHIPPING.
