This gorgeous handmade Murano glass necklace is an original design by Miani Venetian Jewelry, a small artisan shop in Venice, Italy.
We create beautiful glass jewelry using original Murano glass beads, handcrafted either by us in our shop and by other venetian artisans, using the traditional lampworking technique.


Necklace made with 8 lampworked Murano glass beads. The flattened beads of two sizes are manufactured with different techniques: submerged gold leaf, melted in the bead's core, for the smaller ones; opaque glass for the bigger ones. Matching crystals and conteria deals - tiny glass beads - refine the jewel.

Nickel-free metal parts complete this necklace, shipped in a black box with a guarantee certificate.

The product is handcrafted both in the assembly and in the beads' production, therefore it's not possible to ensure the geometric perfection of the various components, but we emphasise this imperfection as evidence of its authenticity.

Lampworking is a century-old venetian tradition, in which rods made of Murano glass are melted on a flame and poured over a copper stick to create a glass bead, that can be further decorated and shaped by the glass artist.
