I was raised with a deep appreciation for camping and being outdoors. Now I have created a bracelet that reflects those peaceful, clear nights with the smell of the campfire still on the breeze. I can even hear the lapping of the nearby lake and the sounds of little forest creatures. And, of course, a full moon guiding you through the forest.

Each bracelet in this collection is created from a focal point that is hand-crafted of 99.9% fine silver. Each one is unique, so no two will be identical. Two silver rivets hold the main component in place, which is 3/4" long and just under 3/8" wide. The width of the leather is 3/8". This lovely bracelet will gently hug your wrist with a secure magnetic silver plated closure on the back.

The leather that I used for this piece is the most buttery-soft leather I have ever felt. It will simply melt deals against your skin and feels great. The color is called "Vintage Cowboy" and is a beautiful warm dark tan that will look perfect with your t-shirt and jeans or hiking pants. But the bottom line is, the lightly antiqued design against the rich leather is something you can wear for absolutely any occasion.

A bit about my jewelry . . .

Each of my creations is carefully and lovingly hand-crafted in my home studio (under the name Natural Inspiration) and takes approximately three days to complete from beginning to end, not including design time. The medium I work with is a unique material called “silver clay”, also known as precious metal clay (PMC).

Silver clay is a natural substance of silver, organic compound, and water. You can mold, carve, texture, and form it into your own design. Once it is dry, layers and details are added, it is carefully filed and hand-sanded, and then kiln-fired. When the organic materials burn off, you discover a 99.9% fine silver creation. Most of my designs are also given a patina to create a light antique finish that shows off the texture and design. After a final polishing, the creation has become earrings, a necklace, or a bracelet. The result is a one-of-a-kind, unique fine silver piece of jewelry, different than any other, with an artisan feel and organic charm.

I live in the Ely, Minnesota northwoods where natural beauty flourishes. My inspiration is the woods that surrounds me and the ability to bring that beauty indoors to a permanent creation of fine jewelry. Most of my jewelry displays a tiny carved dragonfly on the back which is my signature, symbolizing change, transformation, and insight.
