My pottery is great care and high attention to detail. Due to the handmade nature of my art, each item is always unique. It is important to me to create high quality, durable pottery so I use stoneware clay and lead free glazes. Many of my ceramic pieces begin by me throwing them by hand on the potter's wheel or creating a compressed level clay slab to build with. Then I usually hand carve or sculpt each piece to create special one of kind pieces of functional ceramic art. My pottery is finished by firing it in the kiln at cone 6 using beautiful glazes that have natural variations that occur during the firing.
