Why and how to design a fountain pen in our contemporary world?

Fountain pen technology gets mature enough, however, the design and the looking are in a sea of sameness. Therefore, we are looking forward to a new design, a fountain pen with elegance.

Design
After the launch of the TTi-120 Titanium Fountain Pen in 2016, we began to study the design of the second fountain pen.
After many attempts, I chose the bamboo that is as magical as titanium as a design element.
A simple, abstract design language, we turned bamboo to an elegant fountain pen.
The first prototype was completed in December 2017, the final version was completed in May 2018, and the characteristics and surface technology of different metals were tested.

Living with Bamboo
The shape of bamboo perfectly combines with ergonomics. The elegant arc fits fingers and is easy to control. May the bamboo be with you day and night.


The Craft
The three components of each bamboo fountain pen are precision CNC integrated molding, no casting and no welding, to ensure the best quality.

The four parts of each bamboo pen need to be finely hand-polished, no burrs and no scratches to ensure the ultimate warmth.

The five bamboo knots of each bamboo pen are carefully calculated , and there is no straight line nor corners to ensure an elegant curved surface.

The beveled design of the top of the deals bamboo knot is not only unique, but also shifts the longitudinal center of gravity of the bamboo pen so that it does not roll easily.

All the design is calculated accurately and tested for measurement, for the writing feel, also for your elegant gesture!
