The story behind these stones:

The stones are a piece of my heart. I have been a professional designer (graphic and web) for over 20 years and have also created fine art in the way of portraits on large canvases. But this year, after losing my father to cancer in February, not being able to have a memorial for him due covid, and experiencing the low-level stress of life in a pandemic like so many of us, I started really struggling emotionally. So, I did what artists do, I started creating art. I chose mandala stones because they were something I could do at the kitchen table on weekends and in the evenings that would allow me to still be present for my two middle school aged boys, my husband and my very needy dog ;). Each of these pieces of art takes me a minimum of 3-5 hours. They are layered, and intricate, and will make a beautiful gift for someone you love, or an interesting conversation piece for your own decor. I hope they bring you as much peace as they have given me in their creation.
