Product code: Antique Warner deals Keffler Pitcher ca. 1909
Warner Keffler China Company was only in business from 1908 until 1911. It was founded alongside many famous American porcelain makers in East Liverpool Ohio. There were two known marks, but this piece is clearly lacking either. There is, however, a startling clear artist signature on the deals front. One well marked exact piece was just sold on ebay this February for $149, most likely due to the rarity of pieces available in this size. I believe this gorgeous pitcher to be transferware, rather than hand painted. She is 12.5 inches tall. Lots of beautiful crazing with a few odd glaze imperfections. Definitive wear on the handle. No cracks, hairlines, or repairs whatsoever. The color is shockingly vivid. Incredible pick up for any Ohio pottery collector. Most known examples are plates. Not much of the architectural tableware is ever seen. I promise to double box lovingly for shipping.
