A Pixie doll is an entirely handmade cloth doll,it is one of a kind and they have such an adorable meaning: to let us reach our inner child.
Very often people ask me how a Pixie is born. Well, I might say that besides the fact that there is a secret, a haze of mystery taking its role, a Pixie is basically a pollinized whimsical flower that develops this green cocoon which will be kept warm and healthy for 3 months, a promising “Pixie's baby”. We never know if a deals newborn will become a fairy, an elf, a butterfly or something that just ends up mixing all of these possibilities. However, we do all know, for instance, that a Pixie will be something that will blossom into the most important thing when they are finally ready to come into this world: smiles and tenderness.
Over many years ( more than 13) I have been a dollmaker and noticed the huge power of dolls to soften people, to encourage imagination, to heal old wounds, to rejoice the heart at the sight of a Pixie!
