Deals Vintage Dutch FARM Style HEAVY, Stool, This Old Stool has been around awhile, since 1930's 40, used around the Farm.

THIS oLD vINTAGE stool HAS BEEN AROUND THE fARM AND hOUsE, AND MAYBE AROUND deals TOWN ALSO!!!! SO DARN WONDERFUL, Especially if you like Aged, Primitive , Bohemian, Weird and wonderful PATINA's on Items! Its a Dutch looking Style with all the Curves on the legs and edges, the top is weathered and beaten Looking, like it has held its own for 70 years or more!

Look at Photos very carefully. On ZOOM, even better, especially if you are into Farm style Primitive French country Style. This would make a great Stool or Table, side table, book table, Bench for Gardening, step stool for in your kitchen for reaching items. It is solid wood, has chipping, scratches, paint on it, thumbtacks (photo#5) where someone had put Vinyl on top and when I pulled it off, I screamed for joy at the Old beat up Top! Photo 10 shows the Top very well, (Zoom it so you can see every dent, scratch and bump!) I am sorry a few thumbtacks are still present , I could not get them out, but I didn't have hubby around at the time.

Do not buy this if you are looking for unused , brand new items, this has had a fully lived life on a farm and in a home, and is just waiting for the right person to appreciate it for what the shape that it is in now! Thank you. The right person will fall in Love with it, and you will be very pleased. It looks like it has been glued or painted underneath in some of the photos, #8, or it could be old varnish that rubbed off, I am not sure. It is SOLID, does not wiggle or move at all when you sit or stand on it. Photo #4, (zoom it please), shows an area where some critter was using it to sharpen its teeth! hahahahaha, hope it wasn't the farmer.

Measures; 15 1/2 Inches Tall, X 17 1/2 Inches across (lengthwise) the top, X 12 Inches (width across the top). The legs are 11 Inches Wide at the widest part towards the top. Each leg width is almost 3/4 Inches thick. There is a piece that goes across underneath the seat from side to side, this piece is 13 Inches Across, X 6 Inches, at widest part, minus the scrolls (cutouts) that are up and down. The legs under the Seat are spread apart by 14 3/4 Inches.
