This is a group of 4 collectible vintage Bakelite bangle bracelets dating from the 1940's.
Plain very very dark brown, angled shape.
Deepest chocolate brown carved with flowers and leaves.
Black, marbled with deep butterscotch.
Black, carved with flowers.
All are opaque. These measure 2 9/16" across the inside (within a mm or 2) and the widest bangle is 5/8".
The condition is very good with a nice patina. The rich patina has given the surfaces some colour variation, it's quite attractive. They have not been cleaned, altered or polished. All have been Simichrome tested, the phot shows a typical positive Simichrome reaction for Bakelite.
This group is ready to add to your collection as a mini stack, mix and match with your Bakelite deals treasures or start a new collection!
Vintage bakelite is on average 80 years old and will show signs of it's age. Tiny surface scratches, minor scuffs, patina and oxidization are to be expected.
