Vintage SAUCY WALKER DOLL by Ideal ~ 16" w/ Sleep deals Eyes & Crier ~ Original Dress ~ Blond Pigtails ~ One Owner Since 1950s

deals This is a vintage 16" Saucy Walker doll from the 1950s made by Ideal. She has her original dress and panties, though no shoes.

She is hard plastic with a movable head, arms and legs, Her original blond pigtails are in good shape. Her crier still works as well as her blue sleep eyes. Her mouth is open showing her tongue and two upper white teeth.

Her left leg moves but very stiffly so her mechanics might need some adjusting. She was acquired from her original owner who said she had fixed her arms using an elastic and small pieces of wire...they work but seem a bit loose. As she is about 70 years old, probably there are some small repairs and/or adjusting that could be done if so desired.

She is signed on her back, "Ideal Doll W 16" and has "W 16" on the back of her head just below her wig which is glued on.

Overall, she really is in very nice original condition. A very lovely doll who was obviously taken care of...just very light soiling on her skin ...elastic in her panties is stretched out and could use a wash. Little details like the blush and dimples on the back of her hands is pure sweetness.

She would love to be amongst other old dollies in a homey collection I'm sure....
