Antique 1886 deals ASSYRIAN Ice Cream Slicer Fabulous antique silverplate ice cream slicer, from 1886. Designed by Henry W. Hirschfeld for Meriden Britannia which Rogers Brothers produced two patterns from, named Assyrian. This large utensil is meant to cut, slice and serve ice cream. The Assyrian head can be found on the silverplate thick hollow-ware handle. No monogram! Very good quality weighted piece for it's age. It can be used for any sweets, including pies and cakes. It is in excellent condition with no damage, dents, or bends. Looks unused. Perfect for hosting in vintage style. All original, all old!
