1902 Print of The Coronation of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra from the Illustrated London deals News 1902 in the Original Frame
A 1902 really old Print from the Illustrated London News of The Coronation of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra of Denmark in 1902 who reigned until his death in 1910 in the Original Frame
The deals print is from a newspaper at the time which has been framed.
At the top, obscured by the frame it says it is from the Illustrated London News
At the bottom it states The Ceremony in Westminster Abbey: King Edward Taking the Oath
A marriage which was reportedly happy (despite Edward's many mistresses), the two got off to a decidedly shaky start with links to Lillie Langtry
The condition is good. The frame is damaged in places and has been painted over in black over the years but overall it is nice and clean and in fine fettle for the age and these flaws add to it's character.
It would be a super addition to any collection, excellent display, practical piece, or authentic period prop.
