There are size small open pockets on the exterior and the interior is just one large, main compartment with one side wall zippered compartment. Color appears to be an olive green with a gray-ish tint, with black & gray stripes. Item is older and pre-owned - it does have typical signs of normal use - including worn patches on each of the four bottom corners - well made bag, so while the outer layer is worn through at the corners, the holes do not go through to the inside. Canvas is also slightly faded with age / use. Overall, however, the bag is still useable with a lot of life left. Snaps all work well and hold tight.
