A national belt of the Haudenosaunee. Named after Hiawatha, an Onondaga who aided the Peacemaker in spreading the words of Peace. Made to commemorate the ending of the war between the Seneca, Cayuga, Onondaga, Oneida, and Mohawk.
One of the eldest belts known.
