This rather intriguing vintage Inuit stone carving of a hooded Inuk may look as if he has strange. googly eyes. In reality, they are likely just his snow goggles that help to prevent snow blindness in the Arctic. Snow goggles can be made from almost anything in the Arctic- caribou bone, walrus, even clam shells, depending on what's at hand where the Inuk lives.
Unsigned*, but the stone is similar to what is typically seen from Cape Dorset or Kimmirut on Baffin Island.
