4am, Stonington Fishermen
This is a giclee print of a canvas painting that I created. This was the first boat I photographed, standing in the dark, across the harbor. It had just gotten to the huge commercial dock to load up, needing the lights as the fishermen worked. I love the drama of the lights and busy fishermen.
The image is 16x20 inches with an additional white border, making the paper size 18x22.
This is a limited edition print and is printed on acid-free archival paper and is titled, numbered and signed on the front.

WHAT IS A GICLEE PRINT?

A Giclee print is made from high resolution digital scans that print archival quality inks onto archival paper. The giclee printing process provides better color accuracy than other means of reproduction.
The quality of the giclee print rivals traditional silver-halide and gelatin printing processes and is commonly found in museums, art galleries, and photographic galleries.


WHAT IS A LIMITED EDITION PRINT?

A limited edition print is a print that is numbered within a predetermined amount of prints that come from one painting. For example, an artist can determine that only 100 prints can be made of an original painting and no more - and then numbers the prints 1-100. After the 100th print is made, no more prints of that image can ever be made. This increases the value of both the original and the prints.

SHIPPING

Smaller prints are mailed sandwiched between stiff cardboard in a bubble envelope. Larger prints are shipped in a protective cardboard tube.
