DIMENSIONS and SPECS: Teacup is approx. 2 1/2" tall and the saucer is approx. 5 1/2" diameter across. The cup is approx. 5" across the top at the handle, including handle. No obvious chips, cracks. Gold on handle and edges of cup and saucer. Three little feet on cup with gold on feet and handle. Scalloped edges on cup and saucer. The cup has violets inside and outside the cup and on the saucer.. Circa 1940's-1950's. It is marked on the china Lefton China Hand Painted with a deals crown motif. It also has paper label lefton china. It is typical of the mid century Japanese china that was so popular after the Second World War. Please see photos as they are part of the description. The Lefton Company was started by George Lefton: a Hungarian immigrant, who came to Chicago in 1939 and imported Japanese china after WWII beginning with items from Occupied Japan.
