Pink Pig Painting Original Mixed Media Watercolor Farm Animal Art by deals AllKindsofArt artist Glenda Mullins

The title of this fun painting is "Pretty Dirty Pig." Try saying that with emphasis on a different word each time and you will understand what I mean! This mixed media painting was done with an unusual deals method in which I stained a piece of brown sack paper first and crumpled it to create wrinkles in the paper. Then after mounting the background paper on thicker matboard I painted in the pig with white gesso. Watercolor was then applied and then colored pencils were used for accents and details. This was a sample for a lesson in my adult watercolor and mixed media classes.
This listing is for an original watercolor and colored pencil artwork, not a print. The work has been sprayed with a clear acrylic sealer to protect the colors.

The artwork measures 10" x 8" and can be put directly into a frame or easily matted to a larger size.
A great gift or decor for someone's kitchen area.
