A wonderful original vintage landscape oil painting on stretched canvas. It portrays a scenic landscape with a cabin and stream in the forefront and mountains in the background. A deals perfectly lovely painting in every way from the colour palette to the subject, you can almost smell the fresh air! A lovely idyllic scene.

In excellent vintage condition with no rips or holes. This unframed painting measures 15 3/4 inches tall by 19 3/4 inches wide with a 3/4 inch deep profile. The painting is signed by the artist in the lower left corner but I cannot make out the name. We have replaced the string on the back, using the same tacks that were originally there,with some fresh hemp cord, so it is ready to hang on the wall.


The painting captures a sunny day in the foothills and has many layers of paint, with visible brush strokes and lots of texture. It has a vibrant colour palette in blues, browns, yellow, ochre and violet with some accents in red.
