Im pleased with the expression and stature of my Curlew shorebird. The body core is white pine the wing and breast are white cedar winds. The eyes are taxidermy quality. The bill is fashoned of iron from an old hay fork. The bird has been panited and sealed with a UV-Resistant Acrylic Coating..matt finish. The measurments : 13 1/2" tip to tip 4 1/2" is the length of deals the bill 9" high at the head 7" high at the back 2.3" is the width 3.2" is the girth The head is 3.3" at the eyes. Overall height is 10" from the bottom of the base to the top of the head. The base is 7" round x 2" thick The scallop shells are real and loose..not glued. The feet of the remarkable Greater Yellowlegs are fitted into the base. The feet are not glued. This is an original one of a kind, signed carving. Enjoy.
