The glazing technique produces a a beautiful tonal effect where the colors move in and out of the strands of yarn, collecting more densely in some areas and more sparsely in others creating various shades of the same color throughout the yarn skein! All yarns are pre-washed to remove as much excess dye as we can, however, small amounts of color bleeding may occur. Please wash separate with like colors for this reason.

Due to the beautifully artistic nature of hand dying techniques, strong variation can occur from skein to skein, even in the same dye lot. For this reason we highly recommend alternating skeins every couple of rows to help them blend together if using more than one skein in a project.
