LOU is a soft rag doll made by hand by me.

I love sewing dolls deals. Breathing life into a ball of wool and fabric is something wonderful.

It all started with a doll that I sewed for my daughter for the first Christmas. It filled me so hard to awaken this little being that I decided to do more of it.
I put over a year into the development of the dolls.
From the ground up, the dolls are based on my design. I have tinkered and tried a lot, after all, the dolls should be really stable to participate in every game.
And of course you should also look beautiful, in the clothes of the dolls I put a lot of heart and soul.
Before my two children, I worked as a fashion designer for a long time, so I can let off steam here:)

For the doll's body I only use natural materials.
The dolls are created from many small work steps: First, the arms, legs and body are cut. Then these parts are sewn on the sewing machine, after which the sheep's wool is stuffed into arms, legs and body. The head is modeled from wool and yarn. Then the jersey is stretched over the head. Then the eyes and mouth are embroidered from yarn. For the hair, a circle must first be crocheted and later each fluffy hair is knotted individually. Now comes the sewing by hand, with small mini stitches the head and arms are sewn to the body. In the end, the red heart comes to the chest and now the doll is ready.
Now comes the sewing of the clothes.

All dolls of rioskinderzimmer have an embroidered heart on the chest.

A doll is a very special toy, often dolls accompany children almost all their lives. You are a friend who is always at your side.
Dolls train a person's social skills. That's why dolls are very important for boys and girls as toys.

Doll body : 100% cotton jersey (Ökotex 100)
Body Filling : 100% sheep's wool (Southern Germany)
Hair: Mohair (78% mohair, 19% wool, 3% polyester)

Size:
Length: approx. 46 cm
Width: approx. 14 cm

Wash:
In lukewarm water with mild soap (do not rub).
Wrap in a towel and dry in a warm place (no direct sun).

The doll is immediately available.
