Merry Meet One and All
Last year's maintenance of my wild cherry tree left me with some lovely materials to work with. Allowing me to create this beautiful disc of wood that I have dyed with eco friendly stain. Wild cherry symbolises kindness and youth, offering its healing protection. I have seen and imbued the five pointed star into the wood its self with 2 colours of cotton. The five pointed star always offering you it's protection and I have used the wonderful properties of the sea shell to add one my favourite elements of Protection, water. Shells are nature's protection for the little creatures that live in her vast depths, and with its constant moving surface, she can offer you strength and calmness.
Sterling silver bail to add that moonlight shine of the moon. And maybe unknowingly I have created a rune on the back when creating the five pointed star.
All hand made by me deals without power tools. I am unable to make items made to order due to being a stay at home mum. So I use my time to create individual pieces.
