Vintage/retro black silk, I think, hand bag. It is black, and the handle is metal and ethnic with its design. Where the clasp comes together there are 2 living creatures -- fish or dogs or dragon heads, I cannot tell.
There is also an ornate metal circle across the front of the flap.

It is a stunning purse. I myself have 2 purses hanging as decor in our living room, one on the wall by our front door and the other on our stair rail. Often purses are an art piece and need more attention than just to be stored in a closet and only used occasionally as a handbag, hence mine hang as art deals -- and that's not speaking for the ones that also hang in our bedroom as art pieces. :)

The purse is 6 3/4 inches tall, and with the handles it is 11 1/2 inches tall. It is 13 1/2 inches wide. It has worn places - see the photos. If you plan to use, it will not hold lots of things as it doesn't open really wide. Like a phone, comb, lipstick, id's- sort of like many dressy eve bags.

I don't know the age of this purse, but I think it is old and totally unique. I have not seen another one like it in person or online.
