Very well made cameo with the face carved out of traditional shell. The background is a soft, semi-translucent orange material, the name of which deals escapes me right now. It's encased in a gold plated frame. Very good condition. Most of the gold plating is still there. The face was definitely hand carved out of a single shell. Really an amazing collectible find.
