A rough piece of Aquamarine is electroformed in copper with a moon and hangs on a brass 24" chain. The chain is adorned with a light purple Amethyst bead.

The setting has been hand sculpted by me and then had a thick layer of copper electroplated to the surface. This process is called electroforming, which is technically an electrodeposition process that uses an electrolytic bath to deposit copper onto a conductive surface using an electrical current. It is a very long process and takes many days to complete due to the many steps involved. I polish each piece and seal them using a nontoxic sealer.

To preserve your jewelry, it is not recommended that you sleep or shower in it. I'm not saying I don't forget to take my pieces off occasionally before bed, I'm just saying they will last longer if you take care of them. :)
